Course Overview
This course is primarily aimed at those working in the corporate sectorand has been designed to help managers and those in senior leadership positions to develop a greater understanding of the different forms of bias. How bias can influence recruitment, retention, and day to day decision-making. The 3-hour course aims to identify solutions and processes that, if followed, will help manage and mitigate bias in the corporate workplace.
Course Aims
The overall aim of the course is to enable decision-makers to manage and mitigate the risk of bias and the potentially negative effects on their decision-making. It will help participants to identify the different aspects of conscious bias, unconscious bias and structural bias that are too often at play within the corporate space. The course will suggest specific approaches, processes and strategies that will help to better understand, and manage conscious, unconscious, and structural bias.
